Nimboo Mirch ka Instant Pickle recipe

Ingredients

20 Servings
(1 serving = 50 g)

Main Ingredients

  • 2kg
    Lemon
  • 250g
    Red/green chilli
  • 4tbsp
    Black salt
  • 4piece
    Black cardamom
  • 2tbsp
    Ajwain
  • 1tbsp
    Red chilli powder
  • 10clove
    Cloves
  • 2in
    Cinnamon stick

How to make Nimboo Mirch ka Instant Pickle

Preparing the Lemons

  1. Wash and dry the lemons. Cut them into squares.

  2. Add black salt and mix well.

  3. Cover and keep in the sun for 5 days.

After 5 Days

  1. Wash, dry, and cut the chillies into rounds.

  2. Coarsely grind the whole spices.

  3. Mix the ground spices with the lemons and add the chillies.

  4. Add jaggery powder and mix well.

  5. The pickle is ready to eat.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Ensure the lemons are completely dry before cutting to prevent spoilage.

  2. Keep the pickle in a dry, sunny spot for best results.
