Mango Mixture
- 1/2kgraw sour mangoes
- 750mLwater
Spice Mixture
- 1/2tbspmustard oil
- 1/6tspheeng
- 1/2tspfenugreek seeds
- 1/2tspturmeric powder
- 1/2tspblack pepper powder
- 1tspcrushed fennel seeds
- 1tspblack salt
- 1tsproasted cumin seeds powder
- 1/4tspred chilli powder
- 3/4cupjaggery powder
- 1sprigcoriander leaves

How to make Jammu Wali Kache Aam Ki Khatti Meethi Mahni
Prepare Mango Mixture
Wash the mangoes and pressure cook them with water until 6 whistles.
Allow them to cool, then remove the skin and mash them properly.
Cook Spice Mixture
Heat mustard oil in a pan and add fenugreek seeds, heeng, fennel seeds, black pepper powder, and turmeric powder.
Keep the flame low and add the mango mixture and the remaining ingredients.
Bring the mixture to a boil.
Tips & Tricks
Adjust the black salt according to your taste.
Serve the Mahni with rice or chapati for a complete meal.
