Instant Mango Murabba recipe

Ingredients

10 Servings
(1 serving = 100g)
  • 1kg
    semi-ripe mangoes
  • 250g
    sugar
  • 1tsp
    cinnamon powder
  • 1tsp
    green cardamom powder
  • 1tbsp
    lime juice

How to make Instant Mango Murabba

  1. Wash, peel, and cut the mangoes lengthwise.

  2. Boil them in 1 cup of water until the mangoes are tender.

  3. Strain the mangoes and keep the water aside.

  4. Make sugar syrup using the leftover water and sugar.

  5. Add mangoes, cinnamon powder, and cardamom powder to the syrup.

  6. Cook until the mixture reaches a one-string consistency.

  7. Add lime juice, cool, and store.

  1. Ensure the mangoes are semi-ripe for the best flavor.

  2. Store in an airtight container to enjoy for up to a year.
