Ingredients

4 Servings
(1 serving = 1 portion)

Main Ingredients

  • 500g
    mix vegetables (carrot, cauliflower, taro root, capsicum, beans, baby corn)
  • 250g
    paneer

Spices

  • 1tsp
    red chilli powder
  • 1tbsp
    kitchen king powder
  • 1/2tbsp
    turmeric
  • 1tsp
    cumin seeds
  • 2
    onions, chopped
  • 1cup
    tomato puree

Sauces

  • 2tbsp
    tomato ketchup
  • 1tsp
    soya sauce
  • 1tbsp
    green chilli sauce
  • 1tsp
    white vinegar

How to make Halwai Jaisi Mix Vegetable

Preparation

  1. Wash, cut, and half fry the mix vegetables.

  2. Half fry the paneer.

Cooking

  1. Heat mustard oil in a pan and add cumin seeds.

  2. Add chopped onions and cook until they become transparent.

  3. Add tomato puree and cook until the oil leaves the sides.

  4. Add salt, red chilli powder, kitchen king powder, and turmeric.

  5. Add the half-fried vegetables and paneer to the bhuna masala.

  6. Add tomato ketchup, soya sauce, green chilli sauce, and white vinegar.

  7. Cover and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Ensure the vegetables are evenly cut for consistent cooking.

  2. Adjust the spice levels according to your taste preference.
