Guilt-Free Malpua (Non-Fried, No Chashni) recipe

Ingredients

4 Servings
(1 serving = 1 malpua)

Malpua Batter

  • 1cup
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/2cup
    semolina
  • 1/2cup
    sugar
  • 1tbsp
    fennel seeds
  • 1tbsp
    chopped dry fruits
  • 1 1/2cup
    milk
  • 7
    black peppercorns
  • 1tbsp
    rose petals

For Cooking

  • 1tbsp
    desi ghee

How to make Guilt-Free Malpua (Non-Fried, No Chashni)

Prepare the Batter

  1. Mix all the ingredients except desi ghee in a bowl.

  2. Let the mixture rest for 2 hours.

Cook the Malpua

  1. Heat a tava and grease it with desi ghee.

  2. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the tava and spread it like a pancake.

  3. Cook until golden brown on both sides.

  1. Ensure the batter is smooth and lump-free for even cooking.

  2. Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of sugar as per taste.
