Energy Ladoos for Strong Bones and Healthy Gut recipe

Ingredients

20 Servings
(1 serving = 1 ladoo)

Dry Ingredients

  • 100g
    almonds
  • 100g
    watermelon seeds
  • 100g
    melon seeds
  • 50g
    cashew nuts
  • 75g
    flax seeds
  • 50g
    pumpkin seeds
  • 50g
    khuskhus
  • 50g
    sunflower seeds
  • 50g
    sesame seeds
  • 100g
    roasted black chana without peel
  • 75g
    fox nuts
  • 1tsp
    cardamom powder

Wet Ingredients

  • 2tbsp
    ghee
  • 200g
    pitted dates
  • 100g
    Desi khand powder
  • 50mL
    honey
  • 50mL
    Desi ghee

How to make Energy Ladoos for Strong Bones and Healthy Gut

Roasting and Grinding

  1. Dry roast almonds and cashew nuts for 2 minutes on medium heat.

  2. Add melon, pumpkin, and sunflower seeds. Cook for another minute.

  3. Add the remaining seeds and roast for 3-4 minutes until moisture evaporates.

  4. Cool down and grind to a coarse powder.

Roasting Chana and Fox Nuts

  1. Roast black chana without peel for a minute.

  2. Dry roast fox nuts with cardamom powder on low heat until crisp.

  3. Cool and grind to a powder.

Combining Ingredients

  1. Heat ghee and add pitted dates. Cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes until melted.

  2. Add Desi khand powder and the powdered mixture of dry fruits, chana, and fox nuts.

  3. Remove from flame and add honey and Desi ghee.

  4. Mix well and shape into ladoos.

  1. Ensure all ingredients are roasted properly to enhance flavor.

  2. Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness for up to 2 months.
