Cheesy White Sauce Macaroni Pasta recipe

Ingredients

2 Servings
(1 serving = 1 bowl)

Pasta

  • 1cup
    macaroni
  • 1/2tsp
    salt
  • 1tbsp
    oil

Vegetables

  • 5clove
    garlic, chopped
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 2tbsp
    broccoli, cut
  • 5
    mushroom

White Sauce

  • 2tbsp
    butter
  • 2tbsp
    maida (refined flour)
  • 300mL
    milk
  • 1tsp
    oregano
  • 1
    cheese slice
  • chilli flakes, to taste
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper powder, to taste

How to make Cheesy White Sauce Macaroni Pasta

Cooking Pasta

  1. Boil macaroni in water with salt and oil until tender.

  2. Wash with cold water and strain. Keep aside.

Preparing Vegetables

  1. Heat oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.

  2. Add onions and sauté until pink.

  3. Add broccoli and mushrooms, cook for 2 minutes on low flame. Keep aside.

Making White Sauce

  1. Heat butter in a pan and add maida. Sauté until golden.

  2. Gradually add milk, stirring continuously on low flame.

  3. Add oregano, chilli flakes, salt, and black pepper powder.

  4. Add cooked vegetables and macaroni. Cook for a while.

  5. Add cheese and some more oregano and chilli flakes. Stir until cheese melts.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Ensure to stir continuously while adding milk to avoid lumps.

  2. Adjust spices according to your taste preference.
