Cabbage Pakode (Fritters) recipe

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 250g
    Cabbage
  • 1
    Onion, medium, chopped
  • 2
    Green chilli
  • 1tbsp
    Coriander leaves
  • 5clove
    Garlic
  • 2tbsp
    Besan (Gram Flour)
  • 1tbsp
    Rice flour
  • 1tbsp
    Water
  • 1tsp
    Salt
  • 1tsp
    Garam masala
  • 1tsp
    Turmeric
  • 1tsp
    Degi mirch
  • 1tbsp
    Aamchur powder
  • Oil for frying

How to make Cabbage Pakode (Fritters)

Preparation

  1. Finely chop the cabbage and onion.

  2. Chop the green chillies and coriander leaves.

  3. Crush the garlic cloves.

Mixing

  1. In a bowl, combine cabbage, onion, green chillies, coriander leaves, and garlic.

  2. Add besan, rice flour, water, salt, garam masala, turmeric, degi mirch, and aamchur powder.

  3. Mix well to form a batter.

Frying

  1. Heat oil in a pan for frying.

  2. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil.

  3. Fry until the pakode are golden brown and crisp.

  4. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying to make the pakode crispy.

  2. Adjust the spices according to your taste preference.
