- 250gCabbage
- 1Onion, medium, chopped
- 2Green chilli
- 1tbspCoriander leaves
- 5cloveGarlic
- 2tbspBesan (Gram Flour)
- 1tbspRice flour
- 1tbspWater
- 1tspSalt
- 1tspGaram masala
- 1tspTurmeric
- 1tspDegi mirch
- 1tbspAamchur powder
- Oil for frying
How to make Cabbage Pakode (Fritters)
Preparation
Finely chop the cabbage and onion.
Chop the green chillies and coriander leaves.
Crush the garlic cloves.
Mixing
In a bowl, combine cabbage, onion, green chillies, coriander leaves, and garlic.
Add besan, rice flour, water, salt, garam masala, turmeric, degi mirch, and aamchur powder.
Mix well to form a batter.
Frying
Heat oil in a pan for frying.
Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil.
Fry until the pakode are golden brown and crisp.
Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
Tips & Tricks
Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying to make the pakode crispy.
Adjust the spices according to your taste preference.
