Bhune Tamatar ki Chutney

A spicy and tangy roasted tomato chutney that complements any meal.

Ingredients
- 4Tomato
- 3tbspMustard oil
- 1cloveGarlic
- 1Onion, chopped
- 2Green chilli, chopped
- 2tbspCoriander leaves, chopped
- 1Lemon
- 1 1/2tspSalt
- 1tspDegi mirch
How to make Bhune Tamatar ki Chutney
Roast the tomatoes over an open flame until the skin is charred and the tomatoes are soft.
Peel the charred skin off the tomatoes and mash them in a bowl.
Heat mustard oil in a pan and add chopped garlic. Sauté until golden brown.
Add chopped onion and green chillies to the pan and sauté until the onions are translucent.
Mix in the mashed tomatoes, salt, and degi mirch. Cook for a few minutes until well combined.
Remove from heat and add chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice. Mix well.
Tips & Tricks
For extra smokiness, roast the garlic along with the tomatoes.
Adjust the amount of green chillies to suit your spice preference.
