- 1cupdesi ghee
- 1 1/2cupscastor sugar
- 10piecealmonds
- 10piecepistachios
- 4piecegreen cardamom
How to make Besan ki Barfi
Preparation
Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat.
Add gram flour to the ghee and roast until it turns golden brown and releases a nutty aroma.
Add cardamom powder and mix well.
Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
Add castor sugar and mix until well combined.
Pour the mixture into a greased tray and spread evenly.
Garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios.
Let it set for a few hours before cutting into pieces.
Tips & Tricks
Roast the gram flour on low heat to avoid burning.
Allow the mixture to cool slightly before adding sugar to prevent it from melting.
