Paneer Base Mixture
- 150gCottage cheese
- 1/2Carrot, grated
- 1/2Onion, chopped
- 2tbspBell pepper (red, green, yellow)
- 1tspSalt
- 1/2tspRed chilli powder
- 1/2tspGaram masala
How to make Besan Ka Cheela in 4 Different Ways
Base batter
Mix Gram flour, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, kasoori methi, garam masala, and water.
Chila 1: Besan Paneer Chila
Mix the base batter with the paneer base mixture.
Add garlic chilli paste and water if needed to adjust consistency.
Cook on a hot griddle until golden brown on both sides.
Chila 2: Lehsuniya Palak Cheela
Mix the base batter with garlic green chilli paste and spinach puree.
Add the paneer base mixture.
Cook on a hot griddle until golden brown on both sides.
Chila 3: Gulabi Cheela
Mix the base batter with garlic green chilli paste and beetroot puree.
Add the paneer base mixture.
Cook on a hot griddle until golden brown on both sides.
Chila 4: Besan Chila with Stuffing
Mix the base batter with garlic green chilli paste.
Add the paneer base mixture as stuffing.
Cook on a hot griddle until golden brown on both sides.
Tips & Tricks
Adjust the consistency of the batter with water if needed.
