Whipped Feta with Crispy Chickpeas recipe

Ingredients

4 Servings
(1 serving = one portion)

For the Whipped Feta

  • 8oz
    feta cheese
  • 2tbsp
    Greek yogurt
  • 1clove
    garlic
  • 1/2piece
    lemon zest
  • 1/2piece
    lemon juice
  • 1tbsp
    olive oil

For the Crispy Chickpeas

  • 1can
    chickpeas, drained and dried
  • 1 1/2tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1tbsp
    paprika
  • 1tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1pinch
    salt

How to make Whipped Feta with Crispy Chickpeas

Prepare the Whipped Feta

  1. In a food processor, blend feta, Greek yogurt, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, and a pinch of salt until silky smooth.

  2. Spread the whipped feta on your plate.

Prepare the Crispy Chickpeas

  1. Toss the chickpeas with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, and salt.

  2. Spread them out on a baking sheet and roast in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.

Assemble and Serve

  1. Top the whipped feta with the crispy chickpeas and a drizzle of olive oil.

  2. Serve with toasted baguette slices and enjoy the flavor explosion!
