For the Crust

  • 1 1/2cups
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/2cup
    melted butter
  • 1/2cup
    brown sugar, packed
  • 1pinch
    salt
  • 1
    splash vanilla

For the Filling

  • 1/2cup
    melted butter
  • 1/2cup
    brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4cup
    pure maple syrup
  • 1
    splash vanilla
  • 1pinch
    salt
  • 100g
    pecans

How to make Maple Pecan Butter Bars

Preheat Oven

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Crust

  1. Line your baking pan with parchment paper.

  2. Mix flour, melted butter, brown sugar, salt, and vanilla until dough-like.

  3. Press into a baking dish and bake until golden, about 10-12 minutes.

Prepare the Filling

  1. Combine melted butter, brown sugar, salt, vanilla, maple syrup, and pecans.

  2. Stir until thick.

  3. Spread the filling over the cooled crust.

  4. Chill in the fridge to set.
