Ingredients

10 Servings
(1 serving = piece)
  • 1cup
    granulated sugar
  • 3tbsp
    water
  • 4tbsp
    light corn syrup
  • 1tbsp
    honey
  • 1 1/2tsp
    baking soda
  • 1cup
    milk chocolate

How to make Honeycomb Toffee with Milk Chocolate

  1. Add sugar, water, light corn syrup, and honey to a pot over medium-high heat.

  2. Stir initially, then let the sugar melt without stirring. Occasionally move the pot around.

  3. Once the mixture reaches 300°F, remove from heat and whisk in baking soda. Watch it bubble up.

  4. Pour the mixture into a lined dish and let it cool for about an hour.

  5. Break the cooled toffee into pieces and dip each piece in melted milk chocolate. Let the chocolate set.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Do not stir the mixture once the sugar has melted to avoid crystallization.

  2. Ensure the chocolate is fully melted for an even coating.
