Ingredients
- 1cupgranulated sugar
- 3tbspwater
- 4tbsplight corn syrup
- 1tbsphoney
- 1 1/2tspbaking soda
- 1cupmilk chocolate
How to make Honeycomb Toffee with Milk Chocolate
Add sugar, water, light corn syrup, and honey to a pot over medium-high heat.
Stir initially, then let the sugar melt without stirring. Occasionally move the pot around.
Once the mixture reaches 300°F, remove from heat and whisk in baking soda. Watch it bubble up.
Pour the mixture into a lined dish and let it cool for about an hour.
Break the cooled toffee into pieces and dip each piece in melted milk chocolate. Let the chocolate set.
Tips & Tricks
Do not stir the mixture once the sugar has melted to avoid crystallization.
Ensure the chocolate is fully melted for an even coating.
