- 12ozorecchiette pasta

How to make Butternut Squash and Sage Sausage Pasta
Sauté garlic and frozen butternut squash in olive oil until soft.
Blend the sautéed squash with a splash of pasta water until smooth.
Cook the sausage in olive oil until golden brown, then set aside.
In the same pan, melt butter and add sage.
Mix in the cooked sausage, butternut squash puree, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese.
Toss the mixture with cooked pasta and serve.
Tips & Tricks
Adjust the amount of heavy cream to achieve your desired creaminess.
Use any pasta of your choice if orecchiette is not available.
