HOMEMADE Condensed Milk recipe

Ingredients

8 Servings
(1 serving = 2 teaspoon each)
  • 500mL
    - Milk (1 packet)
  • 1cup
    - Sugar(200gm)
  • pinch
    baking soda
  • 1tsp
    - vanilla essence

How to make HOMEMADE Condensed Milk

  1. Take a sauce pan and turn the flame to medium.

  2. Pour the milk and add sugar. You need to Stir continuously inorder to avoid forming lumps.

  3. If the milk is reduced upto 60% and have a thick paste consistency turn the flame to low. Now add a pinch of baking soda. This will help our condensed milk look glowing.

  4. You can add vanilla essence and turn off the flame. But you need to keep on stirring to get a better result.

  5. The condensed milk is ready.Remove from heat. If there are solids or foam in the condensed milk, pour it through a wire strainer. Allow to cool.

Tips & Tricks

  1. If you don't want the color of vanilla essence you can skip that part

  2. Store in fridge in a air tight container will provide longer life of condensed milk.
