Nigerian Sharwarma recipe

Ingredients

6 Servings
(1 serving = 1 wrap)

Sharwarma cream

  • 1/2cup
    mayonnaise
  • 1/2cup
    sweetened Greek yoghurt
  • 3tbsp
    ketchup
  • 1tsp
    Minced garlic
  • 100mL
    evaporated milk
  • Chili flakes (optional)

For the filling

  • 1cup
    sliced cabbage
  • 1cup
    thinly diced carrot
  • 2cups
    diced beef
  • Seasoning to taste (for beef)
  • Vegetable oil (canola)
  • Sharwarma bread
  • Salt
  • Grilled sausages

How to make Nigerian Sharwarma

PROCEDURE

  1. Marinate beef with seasoning and salt for 10 mins.

  2. Sautée beef till tender and easy to chew.

    Put in a wok to grill or in a sharwarma machine for 2 mins.

Tips & Tricks

  1. The yoghurt makes it very creamy and dripping in yummy juice.
