Main Ingredients

  • 4cups
    leftover rice
  • 1piece
    onion, sliced
  • 1piece
    tomato, chopped
  • 1piece
    carrot, diced
  • 1/2cup
    peas
  • 2tbsp
    oil
  • 1tsp
    cumin seeds
  • 1tsp
    garam masala
  • 1tsp
    turmeric powder
  • 1tsp
    red chili powder
  • 1tsp
    salt
  • 2tbsp
    coriander leaves, chopped

How to make Yummy Pulav from Leftover Rice

Cooking Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.

  2. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.

  3. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.

  4. Add diced carrots and peas. Cook for a few minutes until the vegetables are tender.

  5. Add garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.

  6. Add the leftover rice and mix everything gently to combine.

  7. Cook for a few more minutes until the rice is heated through.

  8. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
