    sabudana
  • 1/2cup
    water
  • 3cups
    milk
  • 1/4cup
    sugar
  • 10piece
    cashews
  • 10piece
    pistachios
  • 2tbsp
    raisins
  • 1/4tsp
    cardamom powder

How to make Sabudana Kheer

Preparation

  1. Soak the sabudana in water for 30 minutes to reduce cooking time.

Cooking

  1. In a thick-bottomed pan, add milk and soaked sabudana.

  2. Boil the milk on medium flame, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

  3. Boil for 5 minutes or until the sabudana turns translucent.

  4. Add sugar, cashews, raisins, and cardamom powder. Mix well.

  5. Simmer for another 20 minutes, stirring in between.

Serving

  1. Serve the creamy Sabudana Kheer hot, warm, or chilled. Garnish with chopped cashews.
