- 1cupboiled potatoes, mashed
- 2tspcumin seeds
- 2tspgreen chilies, chopped
- 1tspsalt
- 2tbspfresh coriander, chopped
- 1cupwater
How to make Sabhudana Ki Khichdi
Preparation Steps
Rinse the sago in water and soak it for about 2-3 hours.
In a pan, heat ghee and add cumin seeds.
Once the cumin seeds start to splutter, add chopped green chilies.
Add the mashed potatoes and sauté for a few minutes.
Add the soaked sago and mix well.
Add salt and water, and cook on low heat until the sago becomes translucent.
Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
Tips & Tricks
Make sure to soak the sago properly to achieve the right texture.
You can add peanuts for extra crunch and flavor.
