Masala Idli recipe

Ingredients

4 Servings
(1 serving = 1 bowl)
  • 1tbsp
    oil
  • 1/4tsp
    mustard seeds
  • 1/3cup
    finely chopped onions
  • 1/3cup
    finely chopped tomatoes
  • 1cup
    mixed vegetables
  • 1pinch
    salt
  • 1tsp
    red chili powder
  • 1tsp
    dhania powder
  • 1tsp
    pav bhaji masala
  • 4piece
    idlis

How to make Masala Idli

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Let them crackle.

  2. Add finely chopped onions and tomatoes, along with your choice of vegetables.

  3. Sauté for 5 minutes.

  4. Add salt, red chili powder, dhania powder, and pav bhaji masala. Mix well.

  5. Add chopped idlis and mix until well combined.

  6. Serve hot with green chutney or red garlic chutney.

Tips & Tricks

  1. You can use any leftover vegetables you have on hand.

  2. Adjust the spices according to your taste preference.
