- 1tspcardamom powder
How to make Coconut Phirni
Preparation
Soak the rice in water for a few hours, then drain.
In a pot, combine the coconut milk and sugar, and bring to a boil.
Add the soaked rice to the boiling coconut milk and reduce the heat.
Cook the mixture on low heat, stirring frequently, until the rice is soft and the mixture thickens.
Stir in the cardamom powder and mix well.
Remove from heat and let it cool before serving.
Tips & Tricks
For a richer flavor, use freshly made coconut milk if available.
