Ingredients
Irish Potatoes
- Full basin Irish Potatoes
Vegetable oil
Grated 2 carrots
All purpose flour
Baking powder
Mixed spice/Tumeric powder
Cornflour
How to make Crispy Bubbly Potatoes
For the first step chop your potatoes, wash them using clean running water and after that boil in your cooking pot for about 5 mins .
Once perfectly boiled, don't make it too soft , transfer your potatoes in a clean bowl and mash them using a masher or a fork if you lack masher, to completely crush...
Add in your mixed spice/ tumeric powder and mix well..Later add in your mixed all purpose flour with baking powder..mix well
Add your cornflour and do the mixing..at this point you can use your hands..to mix it completely
Once done add in your grated Carrots and mix well..to form a colorful dough..
Once done make a circle shape from which you'll use a fork to make nice strips in between..later deep fry them to a perfect golden brown color..serve when hot and crunchy!!
