FAQS

  1. Can I substitute the all-purpose flour with a gluten-free alternative?

Yes, you can use a gluten-free all-purpose flour blend in place of regular all-purpose flour. Just ensure that it is a 1:1 substitute for best results.

  2. What can I use instead of caster sugar?

You can use granulated sugar if you don't have caster sugar. Just keep in mind that caster sugar dissolves more easily, so the texture may be slightly different.

  3. How can I make my butter cookies more flavorful?

You can enhance the flavor by adding additional extracts such as almond or lemon, or by incorporating chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruits into the dough.

  4. What should I do if my dough is too sticky?

If your dough is too sticky, you can add a little more flour, a tablespoon at a time, until it reaches a manageable consistency.

  5. How do I know when my cookies are done baking?

Your cookies are done when they are lightly golden around the edges. They may appear soft in the center but will firm up as they cool.
