This recipe can be used as entrée, canape's, cocktail or finger food. It can be made week ahead of the party and stored for later use.

    boiled chickpeas
  • 1/2cup
    parsley leaves
  • 1
    medium onion chopped
  • 1in
    ginger
  • 1
    green chili according to taste
  • 2tbsp
    chickpea flour/corn flour
  • 2tsp
    coriander powder
  • 2tsp
    mango powder
  • 2
    T coriander leaves
  • 2
    T extra flour for coating

How to make Channa Kebab

  1. Soak chickpeas overnight & boil until soft. Strain chickpeas.

  2. Blend Chick peas, parsley, onion, ginger, chili into paste

  5. Bake, shallow fry or deep fry according to your choice

Tips & Tricks

  1. Strain chickpeas thoroughly, ,watery chickpeas makes the paste too soft, which makes it hard to handle & fry

  2. Add chickpea flour instead of corn flour to make it gluten free

  3. Use a corn flour or chickpea flour to coat if kebab splatter while frying.

  4. Chickpeas are dry in nature so shallow frying makes it tastier snack.
