    whole chicken (about 4 lbs)
  • 4clove
    garlic, minced
  • 2piece
    lemons, sliced
  • 1tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1tsp
    salt
  • 1/2tsp
    black pepper
  • 4sprigs
    fresh rosemary
  • 4sprigs
    fresh thyme

How to make Lemon Garlic Roasted Chicken

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Rub the chicken inside and out with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.

  3. Stuff the cavity with lemon slices, rosemary, and thyme.

  4. Place the chicken in a roasting pan and roast for 1.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

  5. Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving and serving.
