How to make Mango-Coconut Lime Sauce

Prepare the Sauce

  1. Add the mango (with peel), coconut milk, onion, garlic, ginger, chilies (if using), lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper to a blender. Blitz until smooth.

Cook for Enhanced Flavor (Optional)

  1. In a pan, melt a small knob of butter over low heat. Sauté finely chopped onion and garlic until soft.

  2. Pour in the blended sauce and simmer gently for 3 minutes to deepen the flavors.

Serve and Enjoy

  1. Use immediately over rice, fish, or vegetables, or allow the sauce to rest for 15 minutes to develop flavor further.

Tips & Tricks

  1. The sauce can be used as-is without cooking further if preferred.
