How to make Airfryer Pork Belly
Prepare the Pork Belly
Poke small holes across the pork belly skin using a fork or skewer to help achieve crispy skin.
Rub the skin with a layer of white vinegar and generously sprinkle sea salt over it. Set aside.
Marinate the Underside
Mix the vegetable oil, Chinese 5-Spice, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin powder, and sea salt in a bowl.
Flip the pork belly and rub the marinade evenly across the meat's underside.
Cook in the Airfryer
Preheat the air fryer for 3 minutes.
Set the temperature to 140°C and cook the pork belly for 30 minutes.
Remove the pork belly, brush off the sea salt layer from the skin, and pat it dry.
Increase the air fryer temperature to 200°C and cook for an additional 12-18 minutes, depending on the thickness of the meat, until the skin is golden and crispy.
Let the pork belly rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing to allow the juices to redistribute.
