Green Gram Curry recipe

Ingredients

  • 1tbsp
    mustard
  • 4piece
    curry leaves
  • 3piece
    green chilies
  • 2piece
    medium size chopped onion
  • 1piece
    chopped tomato
  • 1
    bowl overnight soaked green grams
  • 2tbsp
    sambar powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves for garnish

How to make Green Gram Curry

Add some crapped coconut

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Let them splutter.

  2. Add curry leaves and green chilies. Sauté for a few seconds.

  3. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

  4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft.

  5. Add the soaked green grams and mix well.

  6. Add sambar powder and salt to taste. Mix thoroughly.

  7. Add water as needed and let the curry simmer until the green grams are cooked through.

  8. Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
