Dry ingredients

  • 180g
    Flour
  • 33g
    Extra dark cocoa powder
  • 1
    tspn Salt
  • 1
    tspn Baking powder
  • 1/2
    tspn Baking soda
  • 1/2
    tspn Cinammon powder
  • 1/2
    tspn Cardamom powder
  • 135g
    Chocolate

Wet ingredients

  • 350g
    Mashed ripe bananas
  • 2
    Eggs
  • 120mL
    Oil
  • 80g
    Sour cream
  • 2
    tspns Vanilla essence
  • 165g
    Light brown sugar

How to make Chocolate Banana Bread

  1. Whisk the dry ingredients

  2. Whisk well wet ingredients

  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients by folding. Dont overmix!

  4. Prep the pan with baking spray and line the pan with a baking paper cradle.

  5. Pour the batter and top with banana and chocolate

  6. Bake for 180C for 50-60 mins or until skewer comes out clean.

Tips & Tricks

  1. You can top the dough with sugar and chocolate chips or with banana and chocolate
