Ingredients
- 50gfresh ginger root
- 2tbsplemon juice
- 1tbsphoney
- 1/4tspground turmeric
- 1pinchblack pepper
- 1/4cupwater
How to make Ginger Shot
Prepare Ingredients
Peel the ginger root and cut it into smaller pieces if needed for blending or juicing. Juice the lemon and set it aside.
Blend or Juice
With a blender, add ginger pieces, lemon juice, water, and optional turmeric to a blender. Blend until smooth.
With a juicer, feed the ginger through the juicer and combine with lemon juice.
Strain (if needed)
If using a blender, pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a glass to remove pulp.
Sweeten (optional)
Stir in honey for a touch of sweetness.
Enhance (optional)
Add a pinch of black pepper if you included turmeric.
Serve
Pour into a small glass and enjoy immediately for maximum freshness and potency.
