How to make Crispy Beef Samosa Recipe for Iftaar
Prepare the Beef Filling
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add onions, garlic, and ginger, and sauté until soft.
Add ground beef and cook until it browns. Break it into small pieces.
Mix in cumin, coriander, garam masala, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
Cook for 5-7 minutes until the beef is fully cooked and slightly dry.
Add chopped coriander and lemon juice, mix well, and let it cool.
Make the Samosa Dough (If Not Using Store-Bought Wrappers)
In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and oil.
Add water little by little and knead into a firm, smooth dough.
Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Divide the dough into small balls, roll them into thin circles, and cut each circle in half.
Assemble the Samosas
Take a half-moon-shaped dough piece (or store-bought wrapper).
Fold it into a cone shape and seal the edge with a little water-flour paste.
Fill it with 1-2 tablespoons of beef filling.
Seal the top tightly so no filling spills out. Repeat for all samosas.
Fry the Samosas
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
Fry samosas in batches until golden brown and crispy (about 4-5 minutes).
Remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Tips & Tricks
For extra crispiness, ensure the oil is hot before adding the samosas.
Adjust the spice level by adding more or fewer green chilies.
