- 50gdark chocolate (70% cocoa), finely chopped
- 50gmilk chocolate, finely chopped
- 75gcaster sugar
- 1pieceorange zest
- 2tbspfreshly squeezed orange juice
- 1tspvanilla extract
- 1pinchsalt

- 1piecewhipped cream
- 1piecechocolate shavings
- 1pieceorange zest or candied orange peel
How to make Chocolate Orange Posset
Heat the Cream
In a saucepan, pour the double cream and caster sugar. Place it over medium heat, stirring gently, until the sugar dissolves.
Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Add the Chocolate
Remove the saucepan from heat and immediately add the finely chopped dark and milk chocolate.
Stir until completely melted and smooth.
Infuse the Orange Flavor
Stir in the orange zest, freshly squeezed orange juice, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
Mix well to ensure the flavors blend perfectly.
Set the Posset
Pour the mixture into small ramekins or dessert glasses.
Allow them to cool at room temperature for about 10 minutes, then transfer them to the refrigerator to chill for at least 4 hours (or overnight) until fully set.
Garnish & Serve
Once set, top with a dollop of whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and extra orange zest for a beautiful finish.
