    cumin powder
  • 1/2tsp
    coriander powder
  • 1/2cup
    finely chopped green onions
  • 1tbsp
    chopped fresh cilantro

    wonton wrappers

How to make Chicken Wontons – A Delicious Ramadan Recipe

Prepare the Filling

  1. Mix ground chicken, ginger-garlic paste, black pepper, salt, soy sauce, chili flakes, cumin powder, coriander powder, green onions, and cilantro.

  2. Stir well until everything is well combined.

Assemble the Wontons

  1. Place a wonton wrapper on a flat surface.

  2. Add a teaspoon of filling in the center.

  3. Brush the edges with the beaten egg and fold the wrapper diagonally to form a triangle.

  4. Press the edges firmly to seal.

  5. Optionally, bring the two ends together and press to create the classic wonton shape.

Cooking the Wontons

  1. For Fried Wontons: Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.

  2. Fry the wontons until they turn golden brown and crispy.

  3. Remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
