Ingredients

24 Servings
(1 serving = 1 cookie)

Cookie Dough

  • 3cups
    flour
  • 2piece
    eggs
  • 125g
    butter
  • 1pinch
    vanilla
  • 1dash
    lemon essence
  • 4tbsp
    regular sugar

Buttercream

  • 125g
    butter
  • 1/2cup
    powdered sugar
  • 1dash
    strawberry essence

Decoration

  • 1cup
    melted strawberry chocolate
  • 24piece
    iced flowers
  • 1pinch
    edible gold leaf

How to make Chocolate Sablé

Cookie Dough

  1. Mix all ingredients together with the flour until the dough becomes soft.

  2. Roll out the dough and cut it into various shapes using cookie cutters.

  3. Bake the cookies at 160°C (320°F).

Buttercream

  1. Mix butter, powdered sugar, and strawberry essence until smooth.

Assembling and Decoration

  1. Once the cookies are baked and cooled, take one piece and put buttercream in the middle, then close with another piece.

  2. Repeat this process with the remaining cookies.

  3. Dip each cookie sandwich in melted strawberry chocolate.

  4. Place a small iced flower and a bit of edible gold leaf on top of each cookie.

  5. Let them dry before serving.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Ensure the dough is not overmixed to keep the cookies tender.

  2. Allow the cookies to cool completely before adding the buttercream to prevent it from melting.
