Double Chocolate Muffin
Rich and moist double chocolate muffins perfect for a sweet treat.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2cupall-purpose flour
- 1/2cupcocoa powder
- 1cupplain yogurt
- 1cupchocolate chips
- 2tspbaking powder
- 1/2tspsalt
- 1/2cupvegetable oil
- 2pieceegg
- 1cupsugar
- 2tspvanilla extract
- 1/4cupchocolate chunk
How to make Double Chocolate Muffin
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Prepare a 12-muffin pan with 12 muffin liners and set it aside.
Mix dry ingredients (flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt) and ¾ cup chocolate chips in a bowl.
Beat the eggs in a large bowl. Add yogurt, vanilla extract, and oil. Whisk to combine.
Incorporate dry ingredients with wet ingredients until well combined.
Divide the muffin batter into the twelve muffin liners.
Bake for 20 to 22 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Let the muffins cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then place them onto a cooling rack to prevent moisture at the bottom.
Optional: Melt ¼ cup of chocolate chunks for 60-90 seconds in the microwave and drizzle over the muffins after baking.
Tips & Tricks
Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing.
Do not overmix the batter to keep the muffins light and fluffy.
