Ingredients

Porridge

  • 120g
    polenta
  • 1L
    milk
  • 1cup
    sugar
  • 1piece
    vanilla bean

Toppings

  • 1cup
    berries
  • 1/2cup
    almonds
  • 2tbsp
    chia seeds

How to make Creamy Polenta Porridge

Prepare the Porridge

  1. In a saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, and vanilla bean. Heat over medium heat until it begins to simmer.

  2. Gradually add the polenta to the simmering milk, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.

  3. Continue to cook and stir for about 20 minutes, or until the polenta is thick and creamy.

Serve

  1. Remove the vanilla bean from the porridge.

  2. Serve the porridge in bowls and top with berries, almonds, and chia seeds.

Tips & Tricks

  1. For a richer flavor, you can substitute some of the milk with cream.

  2. Stir the polenta continuously to avoid lumps and ensure a smooth texture.
