A flavorful steamed fish dish with a blend of garlic, chili, ginger, and lime.

Ingredients

2 Servings
(1 serving = 1 portion)

Main Ingredients

  • 1piece
    California bass
  • 15g
    minced garlic
  • 15g
    minced chili
  • 10g
    grated ginger
  • 10g
    shredded green onion
  • 25g
    sliced onion
  • 1sprig
    coriander
  • 1piece
    lime

Seasoning

  • 1 1/3tbsp
    fish sauce
  • 1tbsp
    lime juice
  • 1tbsp
    sugar

How to make Steamed California Sea Bass

  1. Wash the California sea bass and score the fish 3 times. Add a little salt and set aside.

  2. Mix all the seasonings with the minced garlic and minced chili to make a sauce.

  3. Place the sliced ginger and shredded green onion on a long plate. Put the sea bass on top, then add the sliced onion and pour the sauce over the fish.

  4. Place the plate in a steamer and steam over high heat for about 15 minutes.

  5. After turning off the heat, add lime slices and coriander.

  2. Adjust the amount of chili according to your spice preference.
