    fennel seeds

    Kashmiri chilli powder

    red chillies (chopped)

    paprika powder

    onion (finely chopped)

    ginger (minced)

    turmeric powder
  • 1tbsp
    garam masala
  • 1can
    chopped tomatoes
  • 2tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste

How to make Rogan Josh Curry Paste

Prepare Whole Spices

  1. Heat a pan to medium heat, add all the whole spices to roast until you smell the aroma. Remove them from the pan.

  2. Place the roasted spices into a blender and grind until you get a fine powder.

Cook the Paste

  1. Heat the pan again and add the vegetable oil, then add the onions and curry leaves. Sauté until onions are golden brown.
