A delicious and aromatic focaccia topped with feta cheese and fresh herbs.
Ingredients
- 500gready-made bread dough
- 3tbspolive oil
- 1/2cupfeta cheese, broken into chunks
- 1tbspfresh rosemary, removed from stalks
- 1tspdried oregano
- 1tspHimalayan salt or coarse sea salt
- 1tspfreshly crushed black pepper
How to make Feta Cheese & Herb Focaccia
Rub the bread dough with some olive oil.
Pull the dough to fit a baking tray of at least 3 cm deep. Spread the dough to fit the pan, then use your fingers to indent some holes in the bread.
Preheat your oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
Drizzle some more olive oil over the dough, sprinkle the salt, pepper, fresh herbs, and feta cheese chunks, making sure all the toppings are evenly spread out.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until the bread is golden brown on top. Let the bread rest for about 10 minutes before you cut it into slices.
Tips & Tricks
For a more intense flavor, let the dough rise for an additional 30 minutes before baking.
