Feta Cheese & Herb Focaccia recipe

Ingredients

5 Servings
(1 serving = 1 slice)
  • 500g
    ready-made bread dough
  • 3tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1/2cup
    feta cheese, broken into chunks
  • 1tbsp
    fresh rosemary, removed from stalks
  • 1tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1tsp
    Himalayan salt or coarse sea salt
  • 1tsp
    freshly crushed black pepper

How to make Feta Cheese & Herb Focaccia

  1. Rub the bread dough with some olive oil.

  2. Pull the dough to fit a baking tray of at least 3 cm deep. Spread the dough to fit the pan, then use your fingers to indent some holes in the bread.

  3. Preheat your oven to 190 degrees Celsius.

  4. Drizzle some more olive oil over the dough, sprinkle the salt, pepper, fresh herbs, and feta cheese chunks, making sure all the toppings are evenly spread out.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until the bread is golden brown on top. Let the bread rest for about 10 minutes before you cut it into slices.

Tips & Tricks

  1. For a more intense flavor, let the dough rise for an additional 30 minutes before baking.
