Main Ingredients

  • 2cups
    beef rump (strips)
  • 2cups
    vermicilli rice noodles (soaked in hot water until soft)
  • 1cup
    spring onions (diagonally sliced)
  • 1tbsp
    fresh ginger (minced)
  • 1tsp
    fresh garlic (minced)
  • 2tbsp
    oyster sauce
  • 3tbsp
    light soy sauce
  • 2tbsp
    dark soy sauce
  • 2tbsp
    honey
  • 1tsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1tsp
    Chinese 5 spice
  • 2tbsp
    sesame oil

How to make Beef Chow Fun

Cooking Instructions

  1. Heat a wok and add the sesame oil.

  2. Add the beef strips and sauté until golden brown.

  3. Add half of the spring onions & 5 spice and sauté for another minute.

  4. Add the oyster sauce, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, apple cider vinegar, and honey.

  5. Add the cooked rice noodles & mix until everything is coated with the sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

  6. Serve with the rest of the spring onions as garnish.
