Ingredients
For the Crust
- 2cupsOreo crumbs
- 1cupunsalted butter, melted
For the Cheesecake
- 38 oz packages cream cheese, softened
- 1cupgranulated sugar
- 3large eggs
- 1cupsour cream
- 2tspvanilla extract
- 2tbspcocoa powder
- 1tbspred food coloring
- 1cupcrushed Oreos
For the Topping
- 1Whipped cream
- 1Whole Oreos
- 1Red velvet crumbs
How to make Red Velvet Oreo Cheesecake
Crust Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350F (175C). Mix Oreo crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a springform pan. Chill while preparing the filling.
Cheesecake Filling
Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in sour cream, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and red food coloring.
Fold in crushed Oreos gently. Pour mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
Bake for 55-60 minutes or until set but slightly wobbly in the center. Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Topping and Serving
Decorate with whipped cream, whole Oreos, and red velvet crumbs before serving.
