Ingredients
Chicken Marination
- 1kgchicken boneless
- 2tbspgarlic
- 1tbspcumin powder
- 1tbspcoriander powder
- 1pieceegg
- 1tbspsalt
- 1 1/2tbspcorn flour
Sauce
- 1/2cuptomato ketchup
- 3tbspsoya sauce
- 2tbspvinegar
- 2tbspsugar
- 2tbsphoney
- 1 1/2tbspcorn flour
- 4tbspwater
- 1tbspsesame seeds
- green chilli (slit into half) as required
How to make Thai Sesame Chilli Bites
Marination and Frying
Marinate the chicken with garlic, cumin powder, coriander powder, egg, and salt. Refrigerate for 40 minutes.
Sprinkle corn flour on the marinated chicken until well coated.
Deep fry the chicken until crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Sauce Preparation
Mix tomato ketchup, soya sauce, vinegar, sugar, and honey in a bowl.
Heat a wok with some oil and add the sauce mixture. Cook for a minute.
Add the corn flour slurry to the sauce and cook until it reaches the desired consistency.
Final Assembly
Add the fried chicken to the sauce and mix well.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and add green chillies. Mix well.
Serve with rice.
