- 1tbspginger garlic paste
- 1tspKashmiri lal mirch powder
- 1tspsalt
- 1tspred chilli powder
- 1tspcoriander powder
- 1/2tspgaram masala powder
- 1 1/2cuppeas
- 1cupwater
- 2 1/2tbspcream (optional)
- 1 1/2tbsplemon juice
- 1tspkasuri methi
- 2piecegreen chilli, sliced
- 2tbspfresh coriander
How to make Matar Paneer Handi
Preparation
Heat oil in a pan. Add cottage cheese and Kashmiri lal mirch powder. Fry until golden brown.
Blending
In a blender, add tomatoes, fried onion, almonds, coconut, and water. Blend well.
Cooking
Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger garlic paste and Kashmiri lal mirch powder. Mix well and fry for a minute.
Add the blended mixture. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
Add dry spices. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
Add peas and water. Let the water boil, then cover and cook on low flame for 10 minutes or until peas are done.
Finishing
Turn off the flame and add cream. Mix well.
Turn the flame on, pour in lemon juice, and mix well.
Add cottage cheese and mix gently.
Add kasuri methi and green chilli. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
