Ingredients

Fish and Marinade

  • 500g
    basa fish fillets
  • 5clove
    garlic
  • 5piece
    green chilli
  • 1tsp
    chilli flakes
  • 1tsp
    paprika
  • 1tsp
    salt
  • 1/2tsp
    black pepper
  • 2tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1tbsp
    tomato paste
  • 1tbsp
    soya sauce
  • 2tbsp
    coriander leaves (chopped)
  • 2tbsp
    oil

How to make Easy Masala Fish

Preparation

  1. Crush garlic cloves and green chillies.

  2. Add the crushed mixture along with chilli flakes, paprika, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, tomato paste, soya sauce, and chopped coriander leaves to the fish fillets.

  3. Apply the mixture evenly on the fish fillets and marinate for 30 minutes.

Cooking

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

  2. Fry the marinated fish fillets for 6 minutes on each side.

  3. Alternatively, bake or air fry the fish at 200°C for 15 minutes, flipping the fish after 10 minutes.
