Sesame seeds Protein balls recipe

Ingredients

4 Servings
(1 serving = 2 balls)
  • 250g
    of Sesame seeds hulled
  • 50g
    of Flaxseed
  • 50g
    of Almonds
  • 5
    whole Walnuts
  • 10
    cardamom
  • 100g
    of coconut sugar or jaggery or rapunda sugar.

How to make Sesame seeds Protein balls

  1. Take a steel pan with thick bottom and put the sesame seeds in the pan and dry roast on low flame for 5 -10 minutes till it becomes light brown and starts cracking.

  2. Put the almonds, flaxseed ,walnuts broken from shell and cardamom and roast it for 5 more minutes.Stir it continuously to avoid it sticking on the bottom.

  3. Wait for 10 minutes to cool it down a bit and put in a food processor to blend into smooth powder.

  4. Then remove the powder in a plate or tray and add a 5ml of water to the mixture to help in binding.

  5. Start mixing all together and take a small portion into your hands and start rolling into small balls.

  6. Serve with love to family and friends.

Tips & Tricks

  1. When dry roasting try to cook on a very low flame as the seasame seeds can burn or turn black.

  2. Keep stiring while roasting the sesame seeds as it can stick at the bottom .

  3. When adding water to make the balls try to add a minumum as it will be difficult to bind and stick together.
