Choco Chips Cake recipe

Ingredients

  • 200g
    all-purpose flour (maida)
  • 2piece
    large eggs
  • 200mL
    milk
  • 150g
    chocolate chips
  • 100g
    unsalted butter, softened
  • 1tsp
    baking soda
  • 1pinch
    salt
  • 200g
    sugar
  • 1tsp
    baking powder
  • 1tsp
    vanilla essence

How to make Choco Chips Cake

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a 9-inch round cake pan and line it with parchment paper.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.

  3. In another bowl, whisk together sugar, softened unsalted butter, and vanilla essence until creamy.

  4. Add large eggs, one at a time, to the sugar-butter mixture, whisking well after each addition.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.

  6. Fold in chocolate chips into the batter.

  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.

  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
