Ingredients

(1 serving = one portion of masala fries)
  • 3piece
    big potatoes
  • 1piece
    onion
  • 1piece
    tomato
  • 1/2tsp
    ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2tsp
    turmeric powder
  • 1/2tsp
    chili powder
  • 1/2tsp
    garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2tbsp
    tomato sauce
  • 1tbsp
    oil
  • Chopped fresh coriander for garnishing

How to make Chips Masala Recipe/ Spicy Masala Fries

Fry the chips

  1. Heat oil in a pan and deep-fry the potato chips until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Make the masala

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in another pan. Add chopped onion and sauté until soft.

  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and stir for one minute.

  3. Add the chopped tomato and cook until it becomes soft.

  4. Add turmeric, chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well.

  5. Add tomato sauce and a little water. Mix everything well.

Combine and serve

  1. Place the fried chips in the pan. Mix well so that the chips get coated with the masala.

  2. Sprinkle chopped coriander on top and serve hot.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying the chips to make them crispy.

  2. Adjust the amount of chili powder according to your spice preference.
