Delicious vegan seitan chik'n wings with buffalo sauce, served with vegan ranch, carrot sticks, and celery.
Ingredients
Wings and Sauce
- 10pieceseitan chik'n wings
- 2tspvegetable oil
- 1/2cupbuffalo hot sauce
- 3tbspvegan butter, melted
- 1/2tsponion powder
- 1/2tspgarlic powder
To Serve
- 1/2cupvegan ranch
- 2stalks celery, cut into pieces
- 2piececarrots, cut into sticks
How to make Vegan Seitan Chik'n Wings
Prepare and Bake the Wings
Preheat the oven to 400°F/205°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Brush the seitan wings with vegetable oil on both sides.
Bake for 15 minutes, flip them, and bake for 10 more minutes.
Make the Sauce
Place the hot sauce in a small bowl.
Whisk in the melted butter, onion powder, and garlic powder. Set aside.
Combine and Serve
Once the wings are out of the oven, add them to a medium bowl.
Pour the buffalo sauce on top and toss until the wings are coated.
Serve with vegan ranch, carrot sticks, and celery.
Tips & Tricks
For extra crispiness, broil the wings for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
Adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or less buffalo hot sauce.
