Red Velvet Layer

    box red velvet cake mix
  • 1/2cup
    unsalted butter, melted
  • 1piece
    large egg

Cream Cheese Layer

  • 1
    package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4cup
    granulated sugar
  • 1piece
    large egg
  • 1tsp
    vanilla extract

How to make Red Velvet Cream Cheese Brownies

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

Red Velvet Layer

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg until well blended.

  2. Press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Cream Cheese Layer

  1. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.

  2. Add in the sugar, 1 egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

  3. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the red velvet layer in the baking dish.

Baking

  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly gooey.

  2. Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting them into squares.
