Red Velvet Layer
- 1box red velvet cake mix
- 1/2cupunsalted butter, melted
- 1piecelarge egg
Cream Cheese Layer
- 1package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4cupgranulated sugar
- 1piecelarge egg
- 1tspvanilla extract
How to make Red Velvet Cream Cheese Brownies
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Red Velvet Layer
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg until well blended.
Press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Cream Cheese Layer
In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
Add in the sugar, 1 egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the red velvet layer in the baking dish.
Baking
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly gooey.
Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting them into squares.
